Stephen
Earley, your host welcomes you to the Manoir de Roches. Having visited
this
beautiful region for many years, my wife and I bought a house in
Chablis. It is
a delightful small town known as the Golden Gate to Burgundy. Where
better
place to stay! It has a reputation for fine wines, gastronomy
and
historic and cultural heritage.

Chablis has
a lot to offer with its numerous restaurants, and excellent range of
shops offering
local delicacies. There are many caves where you can have a degustation
– taste
the local wines. Sunday morning there is an excellent market which is
very
popular.
